Brandon Nimmo dropped to eighth for New York against Washington
New York Mets center fielder Brandon Nimmo will bat eighth on Monday against the Washington Nationals.
What It Means:
Nimmo batted leadoff on Sunday, but Jose Reyes will move up to the top spot today against Washington starter Stephen Strasburg. It's odd, considering Nimmo usually does well against right-handed hitters, with an OPS of .817 against them this year and .667 in 2016, while Reyes is at .588 against righties in 2017.
