Nationals place Trea Turner (wrist) on disabled list
The Washington Nationals placed shortstop Trea Turner on the 10-day disabled list with a fractured right wrist.
Turner got hit by a pitch on his wrist Thursday and x-rays revealed the fracture. The Nats haven't said anything about a timeline for Turner's return, but Stephen Drew should handle most of the work at shortstop until Turner is back.
Before the news of Turner's injury, our models projected Drew for a .279 average with 3 home runs and 11 RBI over 96 plate appearance. Expect his plate appearances to go up with the Turner injury.
