Los Angeles Angels infielder Cliff Pennington is absent from Wednesday's starting lineup versus the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Pennington will sit with the Dodgers sending left-hander Hyun-Jin Ryu to the mound. Danny Espinosa is starting at second base and batting eighth for the Angels.
