Eduardo Escobar is out Wednesday for Twins
Minnesota Twins third baseman Eduardo Escobar is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Boston Red Sox.
Escobar got a garbage time home run in the eighth inning to make the score 2-9 in favor of Boston on Tuesday, but he will not be in the lineup on Wednesday night. Miguel Sano is playing third base and Kennys Vargas will serve as the DH and hit sixth against right-hander Rick Porcello.
Our models project Escobar for a .259 average with 5 home runs and 24 RBI over 215 plate appearances remaining this season.
