Chicago Cubs third baseman Jeimer Candelario is not in Wednesday's starting lineup versus the Washington Nationals.
Candelario was recently called up from Triple-A, and even started yesterday's game. With Kris Bryant moving to third, though. he'll slide back to the bench. Bryant will bat second for the Cubbies.
Candelario has just a .143 average and .190 wOBA in 30 plate appearances this season. If he stays up, our numbers project him for a .191 average and 4 RBI for the remainder of the 2017 campaign.
