Royals recall Jorge Soler from Triple-A Omaha
Kansas City Royals outfielder Jorge Soler has been recalled from Triple-A Omaha.
After a brutal start to the year that led to his demotion, Soler responded with an impressive .333/.478/.736 slash while hitting eight home runs over 20 games for Omaha. With Brandon Moss struggling, Soler could see a decent amount of opportunity as the Royals' designated hitter.
Soler struggled to a .164/.292/.273 slash and .255 wOBA over his first 65 plate appearances this season prior to being sent down.
