New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks (oblique) has been placed on the 10-day disabled list.
Hicks left Sunday's game early with the injury and is expected to be sidelined for three-to-four weeks. Jacoby Ellsbury was activated from the concussion DL and will take over the center field spot in Hicks' absence.
Hicks was off to a great start this season slashing .290/.398/.515 with a .388 wOBA, 10 home runs, 37 RBI, 7 steals, and 40 runs scored.
