Max Kepler out for Minnesota on Monday
Minnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler is not in the starting lineup against the Boston Red Sox on Monday.
This is Kepler's second time out of the lineup in the last three days after fouling a ball off his foot on Friday, though he is available off the bench. Robbie Grossman will start in his place in right field and bat cleanup against Red Sox' southpaw Chris Sale tonight.
Kepler has managed a .313 wOBA with 8 home runs, 29 RBI and 35 runs scored so far in 2017, and numberFire's models project him to bat .247 and tally 8 home runs, 32 RBI and 32 runs scored in 268 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
