Washington Nationals first baseman Ryan Zimmerman is back in the lineup for the series opener against the Chicago Cubs on Monday.
Zimmerman will resume his role as the cleanup hitter in the Nationals' dangerous lineup after getting a day to rest on Sunday. He will be at first base while Adam Lind returns to the bench.
The Nationals have the second-highest implied run total of the night (5.47) as they face Eddie Butler, who walks 12.7% of the batters he faces (the third-most of any pitcher on Monday's slate). Those factors make Zimmerman an attractive first base option at $4,000.
