Minnesota Twins starting pitcher Ervin Santana dazzled the Cleveland Indians over six scoreless frames Sunday in the Twins’ 4-0 victory.
Santana gave up nine hits to the Tribe on Sunday, but most were singles and Cleveland was only 1-for-8 with runners in scoring position all night. Santana threw 108 pitches on the night and he is now third in the majors with 10 wins.
Our models project Santana for a 3.83 ERA and 1.25 WHIP with 75 strikeouts over 103.4 innings remaining in 2017.
