Los Angeles Angels third baseman Yunel Escobar has been scratched from Saturday's game against the Boston Red Sox.
Escobar was originally in the lineup on Saturday, but he was scratched due to a thumb injury. Cliff Pennington will enter the lineup at third base and hit ninth against David Price.
