Grant Green (knee) back in Angels' lineup Thursday
Los Angeles Angels infielder Grant Green (knee) is back in the Angels' starting lineup on Thursday afternoon against the Detroit Tigers.
Green sat out Wednesday after tweaking his right knee on Tuesday night, but it was obviously a minor issue. He'll start at second base and bat ninth in Detroit. Green is filling in as a starter for the Halos with Johnny Giavotella (illness) sidelined indefinitely.
He's struggled in his short time with the Angels, posting a .213 wOBA in 30 plate appearances. He fared significantly better in Triple-A, racking up a .346 wOBA in a much larger sample size of 416 plate appearances.
