Pirates' Max Moroff not in Friday's lineup
Pittsburgh Pirates infielder Max Moroff is not in Friday's starting lineup.
Moroff entered on Thursday as the Pirates looked to give most of their starters some rest, but David Freese will come back to man the hot corner on Friday. That pushes Josh Harrison to second base and Moroff to the bench.
In the pitcher-friendly confines of the St. Louis Cardinals' Busch Stadium (0.972 park factor) and facing Adam Wainwright, who limits opposing batters to a 0.978 ground-to-fly ratio, the Pirates' 4.45 implied total makes sense as the ninth-lowest on the night.
