Braves' Brandon Phillips makes an early exit with a groin injury
Atlanta Braves second baseman Brandon Phillips (groin) was forced to make an early exit from Thursday's game against the San Francisco Giants.
Phillips is day-to-day for the moment, but we'll have a better idea of the extent of his injury after he is reevaluated on Friday.
Before the injury, numberFire's models projected Phillips to bat .293 and rack up 5 home runs, 9 stolen bases, 41 runs scored and 32 RBI in 322 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
