Neftali Feliz signs with the Royals
The Kansas City Royals have reached a deal with relief pitcher Neftali FEliz, per Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports.
What It Means:
The Milwaukee Brewers released Feliz after he struggled to start the season, and he's expected to serve in a setup role in front of Royals' closer Kelvin Herrera.
Feliz posted a a 6.00 ERA and 5.30 SIERA in 29 games with Milwaukee, though he's coming off a 2016 season that saw him post a solid 3.52 ERA, 3.36 SIERA and 28.0% strikeout rate.
