James McCann is not in the lineup for Detroit in Seattle
Detroit Tigers catcher James McCann is not in the lineup Thursday night.
What It Means:
With a southpaw on the mound for the Seattle Mariners the last two nights, McCann got the start behind the plate. The M's are starting righty Andrew Moore Thursday, prompting the Tigers to have Alex Avila back at catcher with McCann taking a seat.
For the rest of the season, our models project McCann for 7 home runs, 24 RBI, and a .220 batting average.
