Brandon Belt is not in the Giants' lineup on Thursday
San Francisco Giants first baseman Brandon Belt is not in the lineup on Thursday versus the Atlanta Braves.
What It Means:
Belt is batting just .193 versus lefties this year and with the Braves' starting southpaw Jaimie Garcia on Thursday, the Giants will have Belt take a seat. Buster Posey will start at first while Nick Hundley handles the catching duties.
