Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Kevin Pillar is starting in center and batting sixth versus the Texas Rangers on Thursday.
Pillar will take the place of Steve Pearce, who will head to the bench. Meanwhile, Dwight Smith makes the move to center. Pillar hits sixth against lefty Martin Perez.
