Joe Mauer returns to Twins' lineup on Thursday
Minnesota Twins first baseman Joe Mauer is batting second on Thursday against the Chicago White Sox.
What It Means:
Mauer got a rest day on Wednesday night, but he's back in the lineup on Thursday. It's not a great stretch of games for the lefty-swinging Mauer as the White Sox have started three straight southpaws against Minnesota. Mauer's starting at first base, so Kennys Vargas will head to the bench.
