Aaron Altherr out Thursday for Philadelphia
Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Aaron Altherr is not in Thursday's starting lineup against the St. Louis Cardinals.
It's just a routine day off for Altherr, and Cam Perkins will bump over to cover right field while Daniel Nava slides into the lineup starting in left.
Altherr has been one of Philly's more effective bats this year, with a .366 wOBA through 62 games, and with his absence today they boast a weak 3.89 implied total in a tough matchup against Cardinals' ace Carlos Martinez.
