Minnesota Twins infielder Ehire Adrianza is batting eighth and starting at shortstop on Wednesday against the Chicago White Sox.
Adrianza is one of the many benefactors of the Twins' major defensive shuffles on Wednesday. He'll essentially replace Joe Mauer, by displacing Eduardo Escobar.
With a 5.40 implied total on Wednesday, the Twins' hitters are in a great place against the ChiSox. Opposing starter David Holmber has the fifth-lowest strikeout rate among Wednesday starting pitchers and has a .776 ground-to-fly ball ratio – middling on the day, but good overall.
