Texas Rangers outfielder Carlos Gomez is not in the starting lineup against the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday.
Shin-Soo Choo will be back in right field against righty Joe Biagini tonight while Nomar Mazara starts in left and Delino DeShields covers center field. It's just a routine day off for Gomez, who will likely be back in the lineup on Thursday.
numberFire's models project Gomez to bat .241 and tally 7 home runs and 27 RBI in 241 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
