Tucker Barnhart not in the Reds' lineup on Wendesday
Cincinnati Reds catcher Tucker Barnhart is not in the lineup for Wednesday afternoon's road game against the Tampa Bay Rays.
What It Means:
Barnhart started at catcher for the first two games of this series, but Devin Mesoraco will be behind the plate tonight while Jesse Winker gets a crack at designated hitter duties.
Barnhart only has a .298 wOBA through 48 games this year, and his absence won't be a big blow to the Reds' offense, which has a low 4.47 implied total today.
