Detroit Tigers catcher James McCann is in the starting lineup for Tuesday's road clash with the Seattle Mariners.
Alex Avila will get the day off tonight against a lefty, and James McCann will take his place behind the dish and bat eighth against Mariners' southpaw Ariel Miranda.
McCann has mashed lefties for a 44.4% hard-hit rate, 11.1% soft-hit rate and 44.4% fly-ball rate in 2017, and he offers plenty of fantasy upside even while batting this late in the order tonight.
