Tigers' John Hicks in the lineup on Tuesday
Detroit Tigers catcher John Hicks is in the lineup against the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday.
Hicks will handle designated hitter duties and bat sixth against Mariners' lefty Ariel Miranda. J.D. Martinez, who served as the designated hitter on Monday, will start in right field while Alex Presley has been removed from the starting lineup.
Hicks has opened 2017 with a promising .357 wOBA through 52 plate appearances, and for only $2,400 he offers solid fantasy value against Miranda, who has a 5.60 xFIP against right-handed bats this year.
