San Diego Padres catcher Luis Torrens is in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Chicago Cubs.
Austin Hedges will get the day off, and Torrens will replace him behind the dish and bat eighth against Cubs' lefty Mike Montgomery.
Torrens has only managed a .218 wOBA through 61 major league plate appearances, and he doesn't offer much value batting so low in the order tonight.
