Jean Segura might return to Mariners on Friday
Seattle Mariners shortstop Jean Segura (ankle) started at shortstop for Triple-A Tacoma on Monday, and he is expected to play shortstop again on Tuesday.
What It Means:
Segura has been out since the beginning of June with a high ankle sprain, but after another rehab start or two, he should be ready to return to the big club. Expect that sometime later in the week.
Our models expect Segura to hit .310 with 6 home runs, 30 RBI and 43 runs scored over 308 plate appearances remaining this season.
