Jays' Aaron Sanchez (blister) will throw live batting practice Thursday
Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Aaron Sanchez (blister) will throw live batting practice on Thursday.
Sanchez threw a bullpen session on Monday and if all goes well in his live BP session Thursday, Sanchez should be ready to start a rehab assignment. He is expected to pitch multiple rehab games before returning to Toronto.
Upon his return, our models expect Sanchez to post a 4.00 ERA and 1.27 WHIP with 32 strikeouts over 43 innings remaining this season.
