Braves' R.A. Dickey throws seven shutout innings in victory over Giants
Atlanta Braves starting pitcher R.A. Dickey was dominant in Monday's victory over the San Francisco 'Giants, allowing just three hits over seven shutout innings.
The Giants could not touch Dickey's knuckleball all night, as the righty racked up six strikeouts with one walk. The veteran has struggled overall this season, but he turned in one of the best performances of the night on Monday. He'll try to parlay that into another victory on Saturday against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Our models project Dickey for 4.34 ERA and 1.35 WHIP with 64 strikeouts over 108 innings remaining this season.
