Rays' Tim Beckham leaves game after being hit by pitch
Tampa Bay Rays shortstop Tim Beckham exited Monday's game versus the Cincinnati Reds after being hit on the left hand by a pitch.
Beckham was in a lot of pain after being hit in the left hand by a Scott Feldman pitch in the fifth inning. He ran the bases but was replaced by Taylor Featherston in the field in the bottom half of the inning. Consider him day-to-day until we hear more about the injury from the Rays.
Beckham is slashing .283/.326/.445 with 10 home runs, 31 RBI, and 27 runs scored in 265 plate appearances this season.
