Oakland's Stephen Vogt not in the lineup against Houston
Oakland Athletics catcher Stephen Vogt is not in the lineup against the Houston Astros on Monday.
What It Means:
Vogt was handling designated hitting duties on Sunday, but he'll be out of the lineup while Jed Lowrie serves as the DH and Josh Phegley starts behind the dish.
Vogt has only managed a .277 wOBA in 2017, and numberFire's models project him to bat .252 and add 6 home runs and 27 RBI over the remainder of the season.
