Anthony Rizzo homers again as Cubs win on Sunday
Chicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo went 3-for-5 with a homer and three runs scored on Sunday, leading the Cubs to a 7-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Rizzo has taken to the leadoff spot nicely, and he is now hitting .333 with 12 homers and 33 RBI over 217 career plate appearances at PNC Park. His final hit on Sunday was a two-run bomb, moving his total to 16 on the season.
Our models project Rizzo to post a .289 average with 18 homers and 59 RBI over 376 plate appearances remaining this season.
