Aroldis Chapman (shoulder) activated from DL by the Yankees
New York Yankees relief pitcher Aroldis Chapman (shoulder) has been activated from the 10-day DL on Sunday.
Chapman has been out since May 12 with shoulder discomfort, but after throwing a minor league appearance on Friday, he is ready to return to the Yankees bullpen. He will resume his closing duties while Dellin Betances returns to a setup man role.
Our models project Chapman for 12 saves, 34 strikeouts, and a 3.65 ERA over 27 1/3 innings pitched the rest of the season.
