Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez is not in the lineup Saturday against the Los Angeles Angels.
Perez is riding a nine-game hitting streak and despite being red-hot at the plate, he will get a night off on Saturday. Drew Butera is behind the plate and he will hit ninth against Alex Meyer. Expect Perez to return to catch Sunday's matinee.
