Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Domonic Brown has been moved down to the eighth spot in the batting order for Wednesday's game against the New York Mets.
Brown had been teetering between the sixth and seventh spot in the batting order. Now, with Darnell Sweeney taking over the leadoff role for the day, Browns slides down one spot in the order.
Brown is coming off of back-to-back multi-hit games, including his fifth home run of the season on Monday. Still, Brown's .236/.292/.360 slash and 23.8 percent hard-hit rate since being called up in mid-June show that he's still trying to turn things around. Our algorithms project him at a .214/.279/.321 slash over the rest of the season.
