White Sox's Alen Hanson remains in center field for Saturday
Chicago White Sox shortstop Alen Hanson is starting in center field and batting leadoff against the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday.
Hanson got the start and the leadoff gig in a late scratch of Leury Garcia (hand) on Friday night, and it appears that Garcia needs another day off. This also means that if Hanson continues to acquit himself well, he'll likely see more usage around the defensive alignment in the future, giving him more ways to get in the lineup.
Our models project Hanson for 7.7 FanDuel points on Saturday at a salary of $2,300. The White Sox don't have a particularly enticing matchup on paper, facing Blue Jays ace Marcus Stroman. The Sox have the lowest implied total of the day (3.62 runs), and Stroman's ground-to-fly ball ratio of 1.491 is second-highest on the slate. Don't be fooled by the good park factor in Toronto; this is a tough matchup.
