San Francisco Giants third baseman Eduardo Nunez (hamstring) is out of the lineup Friday.
Nunez left early Thursday after hurting his hamstring. He is expected to avoid a DL stint but may need a few days to recover. Aaron Hill is at third base on Friday.
Nunez is batting .300 with 17 stolen bases and 33 runs scored in 263 plate appearances this season.
