Yankees' Aaron Hicks (Achilles) makes an early exit on Thursday
New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks (Achilles) was lifted early from Thursday's loss to the Oakland Athletics.
Manager Joe Girardi said that he didn't believe the injury to be serious, but Hicks was replaced in the field by Rob Refsnyder on Thursday. We should have more news about the potential length of Hicks' absence on Friday.
Assuming he's not sidelined for long, numberFire's models project Hicks to hit .261 with another 31 RBI in 280 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
