Dodgers to have Kenta Maeda start Sunday versus Reds
Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Kenta Maeda will start Sunday against the Cincinnati Reds.
The Dodgers are entering a stretch of 20 games in 20 days and want to give their starting pitchers an extra day of rest. Maeda was recently removed from the rotation, and last pitched on Friday, making a four-inning relief appearance for his first career save.
Our models project Maeda for a 4.10 ERA, 1.26 WHIP, and 83 strikeouts in 92 1/3 innings pitched the rest of the season.
