New York Mets second baseman Neil Walker has been placed on the 10-day disabled list with a partial tear of his left hamstring.
After dropping a bunt, Walker pulled up on his way to first Wednesday night. The severity of the injury is as expected and Walker could miss substantial time with the injury.
Prior to the injury, Walker had tallied 9 home runs, 33 RBI and 33 runs in 60 games this season.
