St. Louis Cardinals infielder Paul DeJon will start at second base and bat eighth against the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday.
DeJong was called up from Triple-A Memphis to take Kolten Wong's (triceps) spot on the roster, after Wong hit the 10-day DL on Thursday. He'll likely platoon with Greg Garcia at the keystone.
The Cardinals' batters hold the seventh-highest implied total of the day (5.01 runs), and are facing Brewers' starter Zach Davies, who holds the fifth-lowest strikeout rate and middle-of-the-road walk rate. There could be some value in this lineup today.
