Kolten Wong (triceps) placed on the 10-day DL by St. Louis
The St. Louis Cardinals have placed second baseman Kolten Wong (triceps) on the 10-day DL.
Wong could barely throw near the end of Wednesday's game, due to the pain in his triceps. While the Cardinals have not released a timetable for the injury, it appears like it will not be a minimum stay. Paul DeJong has been recalled from Triple-A in a corresponding roster move.
Wong is slashing .301/.393/.444 with 23 runs scored in 179 plate appearances this season.
