Mets' Neil Walker (leg) not in starting lineup on Thursday
New York Mets second baseman Neil Walker (leg) left last night's game and is out of the starting lineup against the Washington Nationals on Thursday.
Walker appeared to suffer a serious injury and is likely headed to the disabled list, pending the results of his MRI. T.J. Rivera will play second and bat third for this evening contest.
Our algorithms project Walker to hit 8 homers and 28 RBI on a .279 average over the rest of the regular season.
