Miami Marlins outfielder Giancarlo Stanton launched his 17th home run of the season in Tuesday's 8-1 win over the Oakland Athletics.
The Marlins had a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the fifth when Stanton too A's starter Jharel Cotton deep for a two-run shot, helping blow the game open as Miami put together a four-run fifth inning.
numberFire's models project Stanton to hit .267 with 18 home runs, 45 runs scored and 55 RBI in 344 plate appearances over the remainder of the season.
