Tigers diagnose Michael Fulmer with right shoulder bursitis
Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Michael Fulmer has been diagnosed with right shoulder bursitis.
Fulmer underwent an MRI, revealing the ailment, after a rough outing last Thursday. The 24-year-old will have his next start on Wednesday skipped with the hope he will be ready to take the mound Saturday versus the Tampa Bay Rays.
Fulmer owns a 4.15 SIERA with an 18.3% strikeout percentage in 79 1/3 innings pitched this season.
