Orioles' Chris Davis (oblique) not in starting lineup on Tuesday
Baltimore Orioles first baseman Chris Davis is heading to the bench for Tuesday night's game with the Chicago White Sox.
What It Means:
Davis will undergo an MRI on Tuesday and is likely bound for the disabled list, according to The Baltimore Sun's Jon Meoli. Trey Mancini will take over at first and hit fifth against Derek Holland.
Davis is slashing .226/.320/.461 on the year. Our projections expect 13 homers and 34 RBI from him the rest of the year.
