Boston Red Sox third baseman Pablo Sandoval remains out of the lineup on Monday.
The Red Sox will leave Sandoval on the bench for the third consecutive game on Monday as he has been slumping hard recently, going 2-for-23 (.087) in the month of June. Josh Rutledge will continue to start at third and bat eighth on Monday.
Our models project Sandoval for a .222 batting average and 4 home runs over 189 plate appearances the rest of the season.
