Tyler Smith starting at shortstop for Seattle
Seattle Mariners infielder Tyler Smith is starting at shortstop on Monday.
Taylor Motter has started all 10 games in June for Seattle, so he is getting a much-deserved day off on Monday with Smith filling in at shortstop on batting ninth versus the Minnesota Twins.
The Mariners own the fourth-highest implied run total of the night (5.04) but are facing a groundball-heavy pitcher in Adalberto Mejia Monday, making Smith a mediocre DFS option at shortstop.
