Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Mychal Rivera is seeing "starter-level snaps" at OTAs.
The Florida Times Union suggests Rivera will be the pass-catching complement to blocker Marcedes Lewis. Rivera caught 58 passes on a barren Oakland Raiders depth chart in 2014, then flamed out due to severe athletic and blocking limitations. Ben Koyack and Neal Sterling would be higher-upside in-house options.
Our models project Rivera to catch 22 passes for 207 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns in 2017, which would earn the 41st-most fantasy points among tight ends. He's at best a bye week fill-in in deep leagues.
