Chicago White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu left Friday's game against the Cleveland Indians with a bruised left leg.
Abreu left the game after taking an Andrew Miller slider off his leg in the seventh inning. He was 0 for 1 with a walk and sacrifice fly prior to the injury.
Todd Frazier replaced Abreu at first base with Yolmer Sanchez taking over at third. If it ends up being a significant injury, it would be a big loss for the White Sox as Abreu is sporting a .341 wOBA with 10 jacks and a career-best 39.3% hard-hit rate.
